2014 Reventon Super Estrella 107.1 FM comes to Staples Center for Another Successful Event

2014 Reventon Super Estrella 107.1 FM5On Saturday, July 19, 2014, Bud Light and and KSSE 107.1 FM presented at 1111 South Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, California 90015.  The event started at 6:00 p.m. and lasted until 11:00 p.m.  
 
Every year the fans of KSSE 107.1 FM come out to support this extravagant event. The super talented bands that had the privilege to perform this year were Caifanes, La Ley, Enrique Bunbury, Fobia, Roco Pachukote de Maldita Vecindad, La Union, Victimas Del Cerebro, and La Santa Cecilia. Thousands of fans filled the Staples Center for a great show.
 
Caifanesis a Spanish-language rock band from Mexico City.  Their style can be described as new wave or progressive rock.  The band was influenced by popular culture and the Mexican rock scene. This band has won several “Latin Pop Album” awards.  La Ley, is a Chilean rock band that has won two Latin Grammy awards. Their music style is considered rock, alternative rock, pop rock and new wave.  Enrique Bunbury, is a Spanish singer-songwriter.  He has been part of a Rock en Espanol scene, lead singer for Héroes del Silencio, and a solo act.  Fobia, is a Mexican Rock en Espanol band from Mexico City.  Fobia was one of the original Rock en Espanol bands merged from the Mexican Rock en Espanol /Rock en tu idioma in the late 1980’s.  Roco Pachukote de Maldita Vecindad brings 25 years of musical experience. La Union is a Spanish pop/rock band known for their popular song “Lobo Hombre en Paris” and other great songs.  Victimas Del Doctor Cerebro is a Mexican Rock group. Lastly, La Santa Cecilia is a Mexican-American band based in Los Angeles, California. They play all kinds of music such as cumbia, bossa nova and boleros. This group won a Grammy for the Best Latin Rock Urban or Alternative Album this year.

The first band that performed was  La Santa Cecilia. it was great to see the lead singer come on stage with a bright outfit that swung with her every move. Roco Pachukote De Maldita Vecindad had fun bouncing around the stage dressed in a zoot suit. As he kicked  and did splits in the air, the crowd was on their feet with excitement. The audience even got to witness a marriage proposal on stage. The soon to be married couple received a great response from the audience.

The Reventon Super Estrella concerts have been very successful for many years. Thousands of music lovers always attend. This year’s artists were very upbeat and energetic. Attendees/fans enjoyed the sounds of Cumbia, Spanish Rock, Pop Rock and even Alternative Rock.  The music is played on Super Estrella 107.1 FM every day.  Congratulations to Super Estrella 107.1 FM for another successful event.
